This dress was originally designed and worn in the fabulous 1950s, perfectly capturing the era's elegance with its defined waist, full skirt, and delicate lace. The dress was cherished and worn again by a family member in the 1980s, proving its timeless style and enduring quality!

To honour its history and prepare it for its next celebration, this gown has undergone a thoughtful restoration:

The gown has been cleaned, a new zip added, new tulle skirt cut in original design and the lace has been preserved and mended where necessary. The original neckline was beyond repair so a new square neckline with spaghetti straps was constructed using the original bodice underlay.

This gown is ready to be enjoyed and treasured again.
