Vintage embroidered cotton tulle dress

Step back into the romance of the 1950s with this exquisite vintage white formal gown. This dress is an ethereal piece, ideal for a bridal look, rehearsal dinner, vow renewal, or a grand formal event.

The dress features 2 beautiful layers of plain white tulle with a detailed overlay of embroidered cotton tulle. It also has 2 layers of full crisp organdie that gives the dress it's lightweight fullness.

The fitted, sleeveless bodice has a lovely scoop neckline and is subtly embellished with bugle beading and oyster coloured pearls.

This dress was found at a vintage textile fair in poor condition and has undergone an extensive restoration. It has been carefully cleaned and all damage to the top tulle layer has been remedied with the addition of cotton tulle petals. The original metal zipper works perfectly and this dress is back in a wearable condition.
