Treasured lace gown with gorgeous cropped jacket from 1951.
The bride was mindful in her use of this special outfit and removed the original silk satin lining, dyed it black and wore it as an evening gown. Respecting her thoughtful consumption, this amazing ensemble features a new strapless under-dress that can be worn separately, the bodice is boned and has inbuilt bra cups. This piece is made from all repurposed textiles apart from the silk lining in the bodice.
The lace overlay gown has a new zip and straps, the cute cropped jacket has new silk satin covered buttons. Both pieces have been carefully cleaned and is in excellent condition.
Some minor marks on silk dress only but not too noticeable.
