Vintage Carolina Herrera Gown

The most divine example of bridal couture, this gown was most likely made after Carolina Herrera's most famous commission - Caroline Kennedy's wedding gown made in 1986.

The same sculptured silhouette and exquisite fabric with minimal fuss mirror this famous bridal look.

This white organza bodice with ribbon work features a simple round neckline, 3/4 length fitted sleeves that are padded to perfection and a lowered waist bodice. Attached is a cream full gathered skirt made in silk with a medium sized train and gathered cowls on the side seam. The bodice does up at the back with a zip, covered buttons adorn one side. The train lifts up and attaches to buttons for easy moving about, dancing etc

This beautiful dress has been carefully restored and cleaned. The bodice is in excellent condition, previous alterations have been reversed and all ribbon work has been checked and re sewn where loose. There are some marks on the skirt, some minor on train, a few on the hemline at the front and a couple hidden within the folds on one side seam.
