1970's Lace Batwing dress

A romantic 1970's kaftan shaped dress that has been lovingly handmade in a synthetic floral lace.

This dress features and empire line bodice with a loose fitting skirt that is cut quite long so perfect for the taller brides. The most stunning feature on this dress is the dramatic batwing sleeves that are attached in an open shape from the bodice and tie at the wrist in a rouleau bow.

The lace part of this dress has been separated from it's original peach lining and a cream slip made from crepe jersey has been made to compliment this piece. The lace dress does up with plastic snaps at the back.

The condition of this ensemble is excellent, it has been carefully restored and cleaned.
